Fundraising ideas
- See the Torrance branch's fabulous fund-raising story here.
- If any member of your branch is also a member of the Philanthropic Educators Organization (PEO), they can propose Tech Trek as a group for donations from PEO. One branch received enough to send another camper.
- If any of your members works for Northrop Grumman Corporation (NGC), there is an opportunity for donations from them. (See page 15 of the Torrance presentation above.) NGC also has community action grants for employees who volunteer their time for non-profit organizations. There is a minimum amount of hours required but members of your board could qualify. The money has to go to a 501(c)3 organization, so your member can ask that it be applied to Tech Trek. The application process is not arduous.
